Yes. We can help with packaging for retail, ecommerce and marketing use. Retail packaging is usually developed around shelf presence, brand consistency, product protection and required product information. Yes. We can review the structure, material choices and finishes to help make packaging feel more premium while still considering sustainability. That might include FSC materials, recyclable boards, card fitments, branded sleeves, internal print, foiling, embossing or more considered print finishes. The right approach depends on the product, quantity, budget and how the packaging will be used.

Our standard production lead time is around four weeks from artwork sign-off, depending on the packaging format, quantity and finish. Before production, we usually create a plain sample for approval, so the structure, size and product fit can be checked before artwork is finalised.
What Matters in Custom Packaging Design
Custom packaging needs to do more than look good. It has to protect the product, support the brand and work properly across packing, shipping, retail, ecommerce or marketing use. From structure and material choice to fitment, artwork and print, every decision affects how the packaging performs in production and in the customer’s hands.
Packaging designed around the product, not forced around a stock size
Structural design that protects, presents and packs efficiently
Cartons, rigid boxes and corrugated packaging for different uses
Artwork and print setup built around real production requirements
UK manufacture using FSC accredited, recyclable materials where possible
Common Mistakes in Custom Packaging
Most packaging problems come from decisions made too early, before the product, sales channel, budget and production method are properly understood. The wrong format can increase cost, slow packing, damage products or make the packaging harder to manufacture consistently.
Good custom packaging design should solve these issues before production starts. That means designing around the product, testing the structure with a plain sample and making sure the artwork, materials and finish are realistic for the quantity, budget and use.
Choosing a format before understanding the product properly
Going too premium for the budget, quantity or product value
Using the wrong packaging for retail, ecommerce or marketing use
Not allowing enough time for custom packaging development
Poorly designed fitments that do not hold products securely
Oversized packaging that increases storage and shipping costs
How We Approach Packaging Design and Production
Packaging has to work from the first sample through to full production. We design around the product, the brand, the sales channel and the budget, so the final packaging is practical to manufacture, efficient to pack and suitable for retail, ecommerce or marketing use.
Every project is developed with production in mind. That means the structure, materials, artwork, print finish and fitment are considered before manufacture starts, reducing the risk of delays, rework or packaging that looks good but does not perform properly.
